I like to see art invite the viewer into a space that they might not have otherwise visited, allowing for an exploration inspired by the composition of even the simplest of forms. I often isolate certain elements to be quietly viewed, while lending them support through narrative lines and visual structure. Color is often employed to lend identity to selected forms or spaces within the art. The resulting pieces are simply the physical result of inspirations; visual maps or accounts of an exploratory process that in turn leads to fresh inspirations.
