"I woke up one sunny morning beneath a cedar, brushed off the bright green moss growing on my north side, and set about finding watercolor paper and paints.

I was born in Louisiana, went to school in the South and Midwest (Nebraska and Chicago) and lived in New York City and Los Angeles, while working in the publishing field. Painting, for me, is a means of personal communication. It is wonderful to see a customer fall in love with a painting or some other piece of work."
